I just found out I'm pregnant with twins. I'm the only one who knows because I found out today. I want to break it to every one but it's really hard. Any advice??

My husband and I always joke that if we ever have twins we will keep it a secret until they are born! LOL.

How about having a family get-together and then have a cake. It can say Celebrating Baby. Then pull out a 2nd cake that says, "Let's celebrate Baby #2 TOO~

Is this your second set of twins? It sounds like it from one of your earlier posts where you state you have two babies that are a yr old. So, you probably know the drill. You need to buy a pet octopus to help you out! Mabye getting a stuffed one and putting it on your bed would be a good way to break it to hubby.
congrats!

Keep quiet and soon enough everyone will know as you will show really BIG. Then all will ask or exclaim Is it twins? You will say yes and get more advice and information than you ever hoped for.
Line someone up to help you the first half year. Even mornings with twins are extra busy. Get a diaper service. It'll save you lots of time and energy.
And if I remember rightly you have other children too.
Good luck and remember to get off your feet when you are tired every day.

Hi. Congrats!!! Twins are such a joy and really so much fun! Mine are identical and almost 17 months old! My husband was with me when we found out and almost fell over! I was 4 months along. We were seriously shocked, it was the last thing on our minds! So, do you have twins in your family or is this a spontaneous event? You could make a game out of it by wearing a maternity "TWINS" shirt at a family occasion and just let people figure it out. BUT... when you tell your husband, I would suggest doing it in private and giving him some time to digest the information. Not that it's a bad thing at all, but you know men... they immediately think of things like financing, collage funds, etc! It can be a lot to take in and even a little overwhelming or stressful but, speaking from experience, it's such an amazingly wonderful thing! Best of luck to you and your growing family!

I just walked in the house and handed over my ultra sound pics and let everyone look at the pic and see for themselves. My brother and hubby were looking at the same pic at the same time...my brother caught on right away and had to point out the "a" and "b" to my hubby....He still didn't get it for several minutes after. :) Congratulations! They're a world of FUN!!!!

For my husband I asked if he wanted to see the ultrasound pictures. He couldn't make the appointment, so he was excited to see the pics. I held up the first one and said, "There's Baby A and there's Baby B." He took it so well. I was a nervous wreck and kept calling everyone. I like the first idea about the cakes.

Or, at the next family gathering start the old "Guess the baby's weight" pool. Pass out slips for one and then after they are done, say "Now flip it over and guess Baby B's weight."

Congratulations!

My sister in law waited until they had the ultrasound to find out the sex. When they called all of us, we asked boy or girl...they replied girls...it went back and forth a bit until it hit us wait? girls??? as in 2!!!

It was exciting!!!

I always found the 'just blurt it out' method to work the best. When my twins were born my oldest was 5 yrs old, second child was 3 yrs old so I knew my family and friend would be happy but concerned about the workload at having so many little ones so close in age. Hubby and I decided that we would be excited about it all and just blurted it out to everyone we knew.
