my toddler is in a twin bed and it has a head/footboard/side rails. What do you do with the blanket so it looks made?? I tried tucking in and that is a hassle so do I leave hanging over?? wondering what others have done.

What can I do next?

If you are talking about the side rails used to keep your child from falling out of bed, I pulled the quilt up and then folded it under itself just along the rail. I hope that makes sense. Our twin beds are up against the wall so I only had to do it on one side. If company was coming I always released the rail and tucked the quilt under the mattress.

bed bath and beyond sells elastic bands to hold the sheets and blankets on. that helps keep them all together too.

We tuck in the bottom and leave the sides hanging down. That is, when we make beds (only when company comes!!).

fold it to match the size of the top of the bed. it is hard with the side rails. our 2 1/2 year old is in the toddler bed with the short side raild toward the head of the bed and it makes it hard to have his blanket looking nice.
