Does anyone know anything about the place called "Tumble Bugs" It is located @ Eldorado & Hardin next to Tom Thumb in McKinney. I am interested in what they offer as far as the preschool goes and wanted to know if any other mom's had tried it out. Thanks.

What can I do next?

Funny you mention it, we are going tomorrow to check it out. I emailed them before Christmas to get more information. I liked that its a fun, stress-free environment that has classes for both of my kiddos. They said we could come in anytime to check out a class. They do have a website: www.tumblebugs.com

I have been thinking of taking my daughter there too. I haven't checked into their programs lately. It has expanded quite a bit since she moved the business from Eldorado Parkway & 75, several years ago. The owner used to live next door to me and she is great.

Both my boys went to the 2 day preschool (4 year old) class there, and loved it. Ms. Mary is a stickler about writing and really gets the kids ready for Kindergarten. The nice thing is they don't take a nap (which my kids didn't take after 3), and they get a gymnastics class for an activity. I thought it was well worth it, and my kids did an easy adjustment to Kindergarten.

I don't know much about the younger program, but I still take my daughter there for Gymnastics. It's family owned, and the the owner is super nice.

Good luck.

Hi N., it's D., your Pet Sitter :) The girls did a summer at Tumble Bugs when they were 2 and loved it! It was part classroom time, part gym time, etc. My only problem was that every time I went to get them a movie was on and I wasn't sure how much was 'tv time', but they assured me it wasn't much. The girls had Debbie as their teacher and she was great :)

Both of my boys went there for about 4 months for one half day a week shortly after they started walking. It was a nice transition to 9a-2p preschool (which they didn't offer when my guys were littler) and helped them trust other caregivers and play with other kids. We liked it a lot.
