The odds are supposed to be slim that it happens, but it is more likley to happen in the 5 years after getting the procedure done. I think when I looked that it said 1 in 50,000 would get pregnant (too risky for me). My last 2 children were birthcontrol babies too so I was looking for something more permanant. We decided against me getting a tubal because of some of the possible side effects, and decided my husband is going to get a vasectamy. He's going this afternoon for it.
I would only say this to you--whatever you do, you need to go see your doctor ASAP. There is a possibility(and I believe that it is VERY high) that you can have a tubal pregnancy. THis can be fatal to both yourself and the baby. Most of the time if the pregnancy is tubal, the doctors decide the best thing to do is terminate the pregnancy because as the baby gets bigger in the tubes, your tubes can burst and this can lead to killing both of you. If everything this is alright God will help you thru it all. That it what I have learned with my last 2 children. My #4 is due anytime between now and the next 3 weeks. Eventhough he was unexpected, I am so happy to be having him join our family soon.
I hope all goes well with you and the baby and please let us know what happens in the future :)
