You should NOT try and conceive, before you know if a surgery is needed. Having to do a surgery while you are pregnant is risky. And, it's something you can avoid. It's NEVER a good idea to conceive, when you have a known medical issue that's not being taken care of. Your body is not healthy right now and you could end up needing to fix it while your pregnant. That would be stressful for your baby. Why would you possibly put a baby through that? This really shouldn't be an issue of what you "want." Daily pain is not a good thing, you can't just wait this out, because it's what you "want." Your body is screaming at you, that there is something wrong. Don't ignore it.
I have a friend who was having intestine issues and didn't "want" to address it. She conceived, anyway. They had to preform a surgery on her AND take her baby prematurely. Her baby had a whole host of problems, simply because her mom didn't "want" a surgery before she conceived. Her child was perfectly healthy int he womb, and had to be taken early. She STILL has problems and major delays. Pretty selfish of her mom.
