Ok. Here is a fun challenge for those who liike to make treats or bake-I don't want to go the store to spend money or buy anything and I need to make treats for the neighbors and a few of my daughter's friends for an activity she has tomorrow afternoon. Here is what I have. What would you make or give me a quick recipe-Thanks!:
lots of Peanut Butter,Large Hershey's chocolate bar,Hot chocolate (the kind that has sweetness already added to it),Bag of Large Marshmallows-well kids ate a few, cinnamon graham crackers, popcorn, Oats,1/2 thing of large Karo Syrup, a few cake mixes-vanilla and 2 chocolate (I think!),flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, powdered sugar, orange and peppermint flavoring, food coloring, ginger, eggs, margarine, butter
Cookie cutters in shapes of snowmen, bell, reindeer, cupcake sleeves-if those come into play...
*Let me know your ideas. I appreciate all your help and hope the holiday season is going well for you and Yours Mamas...*

What can I do next?

Mix it all together and shape into balls. Using reasonable ratios.
Crush some of the ingredients like the crackers and chocolate or make it into bite sized chunks. Just whack it with a hammer.
Put on foiled lined cookie sheet.
Bake at 350, until sort of melted (but not completely), but enough so that it all melds/melts together.

Use the ginger, for some of them. Most kids, don't like ginger tasting things. Keep those for adults.

But I would omit the flour. And baking soda. And the baking powder. And the cake mix. You also don't need the eggs for this.

Also, use either, orange or peppermint flavoring extracts. Not both at the same time.

You can use the hot chocolate, to "dust" the finished balls after it comes out of the oven and has cooled.

Don't use too much brown sugar in the mixture... or it will caramelize too much or burn. Getting hard. Making the mixture hard as rock.

Use, EITHER margarine or butter. I would use the butter.

You can use the eggs/flour/sugar/butter and either orange or peppermint flavoring... to make crepes.
Using the sugar both in the crepe batter and after to dust the crepes with.
Crepes are easy. Many recipes online. Even my 9 year old daughter can make that.
The way to eat it, is to fold it after.

At school, my son's class made cute reindeer faces. Spread peanut butter on a slice of bread and use the other stuff to make a face (chocolate bar eyes, raisin mouth, marshmallow nose, graham cracker antlers). Use the cookie cutters to shape the bread into a reindeer.

With what you have, you can always just bake cupcakes or sugar cookies and have them decorate using the other supplies you have.

I make personalized fortune cookies each year...flour, sugar, vanilla, butter and eggs. They cook in 3-5 minutes. Folding them can be a little tricky, but once you get it down it's a breeze. I print the fortunes on our printer...stuff like "Merry Christmas" and "Happy New Year". When they are cooled and hard you can decorate with chocolate or almond bark. PM if you want the exact recipe.

If you go to Allrecipes.com, there is a tab that says "ingredients" and if you click on it, you can put what ingredients you have, and a list of recipes including those ingredients will pop up-I love it and use it frequently! Have fun cooking!
