Hi Moms,
I'm getting ready to purchase a treadmill and wondered if anyone would share their opinions on their treadmills with me. I've read countless reviews online but was hoping to get some honest opinions from other moms. I'm looking to buy a treadmill that folds for storage and plan on using it to run (during the lovely Kansas winters!). Thanks so much in advance!!

I have a smooth - they have very good warranties and are one of the best home treadmills for the price - mine actually folds flat enough to go under a bed.
Precor are great if you want to spend $2000
mine was $799
Keshawnna you are off your nut

I have an Iron Man treadmill that I bought at Dick's Sporting Goods for half off several years ago. It's a $1000 treadmill that we got for $500. We thought, "hey, this is an expensive piece of equipment...should be great!" Wrong. I still have it five years later, but the belt slips on it about a five minutes into my workout, so I'm constantly wondering if I'm going to fall off (belt greaser helps, but not for long) and then after about 16 minutes of running at 5.5 or above, the thing starts to smell like smoke and turns off. So, I guess what I'm saying is steer clear of this brand. :) If you just want to walk, you can buy a mill for less and it'll be fine. Running is a different story. You tend to get what you pay for, I think.

Hope this helps!
Hilary

I use a Precor treadmill at the gym everyday and like it a lot. I'm sure it's a commercial-grade, but they do sell treadmills for home use as well.
