I am looking to purchase a treadmill - I would like to spend less than $600 if possible - do you have one for under that price that you like?

What can I do next?

i found mine by posting on fb a need for one - you'd be surprised (or maybe not lol) how many people have them collecting dust in their basements! mine was given to me, for the "price" of an old tube tv we had in the garage. and it's AWESOME! i've had it about a year and a half and i love it!

I'd say to wait a couple months and look for a used one. I'm sure there will be a lot of gently or never used treadmills, steppers, etc on craigs list shortly as the people who bought them under the "I'm going to get in shape this year. I'm going to get a treadmill and use it for 2 hrs every single day" will be figuring out that these things take up room and they aren't going to use them so might as well sell them.

Definitely look at craigslist or local facebook online garage sales in your area. Like Diane said you might get a steal on one that has been barely used, or been used as a clothes hanger for some time LOL. I bought a 2 year old New Balance stationary bike off craigslist a few years ago and it was in brand new condition, the people said they literally rode it only a couple of times and I got it more than 1/2 of what they paid. I have had it maybe 4 years now and it's still going strong.

Do a little research on brands. I bought a Landice about 15 years ago that is still going strong, but it cost more than that back then. But.... if you are handy and can take it apart look for one on Craigslist used.
