I went to Boise in college for a college trip. We went skiing the whole time. (bogus basin) so if you are going during winter for a trip. GREAT time if you like to ski:)
Has anyone been to Boise, Idaho? We are thinking of taking a trip there and hear it is very beautiful. We will be traveling with my 12 and 9 y/o. We thought about driving but have decided to fly instead.

It would help to know what you and your family like to do.
It's been a long time since I've been to Boise. But there are A LOT of outdoor things - kayaking, ziplining, rock and mountain climbing, tubing down the Boise river....don't know if they still do it - but you can play baseball frisbee and other sports via frisbee in a park...there are art museums, botanical gardens, so much...
Have fun!!
I live in Idaho, and hour plus away from Boise. It's a beautiful state, with beautiful cities.
Since you're flying in, make sure to grab the little flier things that the airport has. It has lots of great idea's on things to do here while you visit.
Funny you should mention that. We are in Boise right now, getting ready to head back home to Nevada by car. We have our 5 yr. old, 10 yr. old and nearly 14 yr. old. We went camping by Idaho City in the Boise National Forest. It was beautiful and the wild flowers and butterflies were great! It's been a bit muggy in Boise itself, but still good weather. The people here are incredibly nice. We then stayed two nights at a hotel near the airport. It's an older hotel, but it's great for kids and has a really good breakfast included. My husband had a job interview here and got the position, so it looks like we will probably be moving here. :)
Enjoy your trip!
