Hi! I am new here. My husband has been transferred to the Dayton Ohio area. We will be moving with our four children in February. We will be in the Centerville, Kettering area. Since we will be new to the area, I am looking for a great family physician and an ob/gyn for myself I was wondering if any of you ladies could make some recommendations for doctors. I have been reading up on the area, and it seems like a nice place to live. Any suggestions would be very helpful and appreciated. Thanks!

What can I do next?

My whole family and most of my friends go to the same ob/gyn. She is with Dayton OBGYN her name is Dr. D'Amato. She is a great doctor!! She delivered 1 of my 2 and Dr. Sanford who is in her practice with her delivered my other. I've met all the doctors there and they are great. They have an office @ Miami Valley Hospital and another one in Centerville. Their staff is very nice, I love them there! I'm in the process of finding a new family physician so I'm no help there. Good luck on your move!

Love my primary care doc but I'm not sure if he sees a ton of kids. I use a pediatrician for my son, so I've never asked my doc if he sees kids. His name is Anton Vasiliu, in Centerville, ###-###-####.

Love my OB/GYN, Dr. Huey at Huey and Weprin, ###-###-####. They have an office in Kettering.

Welcome to the Dayton area. I have lived here all my 40+ years. I have some doctors that I adore and have referred people to them and no one has ever complained.

Our family doctor is double boarded in Peds/Internal Med and we have been seeing her for 11+years. Her practice incorporates 3 doctors and I like all of them. Dr. Beth Duvall, 937/208-7300, 6611 Clyo Road, Suite A, Centerville, OH 45459. She will sit down with a meet and greet with you if you prefer.

My OB/GYN is Dr. Michael Thesing, Dayton OB-GYN, Inc., 937/435-1445, 330 North Main Street, Centerville, OH 45459. I have been with him for 10+ years now. He is with a practice that has several drs in it, both male and female. I like them all (as I had to see many of them when I was pregnant) and his practice has delivered 3 out of 4 of my boys (he has delivered 2 of them). Their website is www.daytonobgyn.com.

Best of luck with the move!

For the nine years I lived in Dayton, I saw Dr. Dietrice Chapman at South Town Family Practice. I was single with no kids at the time so I'm not sure if they see children or not. I never had an OB/GYN while I lived there. I had moved from Cincinnati so I drove there! Good luck on your move!
