do you know of any 1st bras that are really soft, probally not padded? the pinched material in front doesn't fit her either. thank you in advance.
Target sells a lot of really soft cotton bras for first timers. Some are with elastic and some are with out and they are not padded. Have you tried Target ? I have not tried any other store. Sorry. But Justice I think has some nice ones too that are cotton.
Sports bras work well for first bras.
I bought my 11 year old her first bra at Kohl's in the girls section (not in the women's bras). They had several styles when we were there. The ones she chose were not padded, were soft, the look of a sports bra but not tight like a sports bra. My daughter doesn't need one yet but asked for one to feel older. I think her friends are starting to wear them.
I would try a sports bra...even Victoria's Secret has some nice starter bras that aren't padded - our store does...at least!
I vote for the sports bras as first bras. It's been a while since my 16 yr old started wearing bras. She started with sports bras and now loves the Victorias Secret bras.
Jockey makes nice light weight sports bras. Also check barely there, they make some really comfortable ones.
My girls had their first from Target. They are like sports bras, over the head and not a lot of elastic to pinch or anything. They liked them and said they were comfortable and not super expensive either. They usually come in a pack of 2.
