Hiya ladies, I am looking to buy a kitchen for my 2 year old... Since there are so-o many kinds out there I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations and if there are any that I should stay away from.
I bought my children a pink kitchen from Costco last Christmas and they absolutely love it. They are now 3 and 5 and they still play with it on a daily basis. I was at Costco today and saw they have it this year in red and it is a bit different but still really cute. I think it is made by Kid Craft.
Good luck and keep in mind that the kitchens at Costco sell out very fast.
Hi,
Last year around christmas time we bought a wooden toy kitchen at target for around 100.00 (looks like pottery barn) It is great not too big. My 5 year old and 2.5 year old love playing with it. I would say that is the toy they use most.

we have the inside/outside cook and grill kitchen from Little Tikes. It has a kitchen on one side and a BBQ on the other side. The nice thing about it is one kid can play on one side while the other plays on the other side. I have a 3 1/2 year old boy and a 1 1/2 year old girl and they both love it. Of course they often want to play on the same side, but what can you do. It's a great kitchen and very sturdy. I think it's worth spending a little more money to get something that will last and they can enjoy for a few years until they out grow it. this kitchen also has real sound effects of the BBQ firing up and stove sounds. It's a great kitchen.
