Tool Box for Hubby

Good Morning S., Look at Lowe's, Walmart, Home Depot. They have some stand up tool cabinets that are reasonable. Several drawers for hand tools, screw drivers, hammers, nuts and bolts..lol and lower cabinet for power tools.
You can do a comparison online for what you might be looking for. Saves gas to check the different places before going. Sometimes they will ship to home. Somethings are only sold online and shipped.

My husband has the red Craftsman one from Sears and that thing is like a tank. Totally durable and it comes in differnt sizes/prices.

I have always had good luck with the guys at Sears when it comes to buying tools for my husband. They are very patient, almost sympathetic!! (Poor wife, stuck in a tool department - let's help her out!!)

I agree with Jessica K. If you want a box with a lifetime warrenty go with Craftsman (Sears) or Snap on. Good luck!

Sorry I'm just saying the same thing that the last 3 ladies said, but my dad and grandpa both have always gotten theirs at Sears. I know the employees there are always so helpful and they always have pretty good sales. Good luck!

My husband has several of those huge (like 5 foot tall) rolling toolboxes but he also has several of every tool ever made too. You should find out how many tools he plans on putting in it then talk to the guys at the local hardware store (they are usually more helpful then the people at like Lowes or HomeDepot).

Go to Sears and ask the guy working there. I believe Craftsman is the brand my dad and brother in law like.

Craftsman tool boxes are built last.

Tool chest combos have a removable top chest you can move and carry with you. The whole chest has wheels that you can move it around easily.

If he does or plans to ever have an air compressor with all the accessories than I would recommend getting one that has a larger storage compartment at in the bottom. Or if he has larger tools that need to be stored.

If your husband just has a smaller collection of tools than a portable toolbox may be enough, but they do get heavy pretty quickly.

If he plans on adding to his collection or already has a good sized collection, I would invest in a tool chest that has a good variety of drawer sizes. Also full extension drawers are very nice and handy.

I personally recommend Sears and looking around.
