What type of toys/furniture have you been looking for but just can't find anywhere (18 months to 6 years)? We are having anoyher 'baby-boom' with our friends and their families and I'm looking for unique/high quality items that are fun, sturdy and useful! What would be an ideal item to have?
Not that you can't easily find it, but though I thought it frivolous and unnecessary at the time, looking back I would have LOVED to have O. of those kneelers for mom to use for beside the tub!
a good set of toy storage bins/shelves is always great. a kid sized book case would be nice. my boys have only their beds and dresser in their room and in the other room the toys live in bins (until we have another kid and then who knows). fun shelves to put their trinkets on, we have ones with pegs for backpacks/hats and then their piggy banks are there too.
a well made child size table and chairs set. my father made one for my daughter when she was a year that now at 8 yrs old she and her brother still use. Then she used it to eat at.
