He sounds completely normal to me. He is just exploring his world. My kids both like to touch skin to skin. I think they like the closeness of it. As for the tongue in someone's mouth just say it is yucky and spreads germs and encourage him not to do it.

They are into sensations on all the different parts of their bodies, and our reactions to them. So if you react, prepare for repeats! Especially if you have the "ewww" reaction - that guarantees more! LOL. Tongues are especially wierd/funny. Just correct and redirect. My kiddo likes to hug me if he catches me changing clothes. I breastfed him till he was 2.5 so he associates my skin with comfort. That could be part of the tummy thing for him with you.

I wouldnt be alarmed. Kids do really obnoxious things just to do them. I would simply say to your son, "eww, we need to keep our tongues to ourselves, we don't want to spread germs". This is how I got my 2 year old to stop picking her nose, I just said it was nasty and I don't want her to spread her germs. As far as the belly rubbing, I think kids that age just like to have skin on skin contact. My daughter who is 4 now still asks occasionally if she can take off her shirt and cuddle with me as that makes her feel warm.

He's being silly, that is what 2 year olds do. If you don't want him to do something, tell him "no" and tell him what he should do instead. It's fine to say "Our tongues stay in our own mouths." Why would you be alarmed? He is not being violent, he is being silly

Apart from that being gross, it is not an issue. If you're worried about him seeing you "tongue kiss" someone (which is my assumption), then just get that out of your head...he is not following you and if you think so, then stop doing it in front of him.

He is 2 and exploring ..the belly button is a favorite fascination!
