I don't want to alarm you, but it seems to me that the safest move now is to call a doctor. If you are in a hotel, I am sure they will have a person on call for hotel guests. If you are staying with friends or family ask them. Or go to a hospital.

You know, it could be anything. It could be fatigue, food poisoning, the flu. I am sure your child must be feeling tired and probably displaced.

We travel regularly between San Francisco and Italy, and I know well that if my daughter (now 3 1/5) doesn't get enough sleep on the plane, it can get ugly (grumpiness, refusal of food, sickness, you name it).

Good luck, and enjoy France!

You should be able to take him to the doctor with very little cost. It's France, not the United States, and it has much better health care, even for non-citizens.

Hopefully you've heeded the other Mama's advice... i totally think you need to check in with a doctor as well. This may not be just jetlag. With the recycled air in the plane and the exposure to the crowds and people at the airport, your son could have been exposed to anything. I don't want to sound alarmist, but I'd want to be safe with a child that young! (Also, keep him hydrated in the meantime if he's throwing up. The dehydration will only make him weaker...) GOOD LUCK!

Take him to a doctor. Don't wait for online responses.

The flu is going around and it is possible it is the 24 hour stomach flu. Make sure to keep him hyrdrated. When my kids are vomitting, I still make them sip water every once in a while regardless if it will come back up. Good luck and hopefully it passes soon.
