I would go to the Dr. Could very well be reflux and they can help with that plus teach strategies for you on his foods, when to eat them, etc.
Call dr back and get an appointment or referral.
He had a cough for two weeks. It finally cleared, during this, he had a bad breath, difficult for even me to tolerate. During his cough, he developed a sound coming from his chest, I thought it was mucus trying to get out. Nothing ever came out but the cough went away, however the very sound still comes during the day from his chest, now he complains sometimes of tummy pain and he seems to have something backing up to his throat, it sounds like it, he swallows it and it seems to happen more often after eating. I called the doc office but they did not answer. have you seem this with in other kids

If you don't have one already or know one, go to upcspine.com and look one up in your area. Interview them like you would an MD. Make sure they understand exactly how the immune system work...if they don't, run. If they do, go for it! Health by chiropractic will change lives!

Keep calling the office.
Does your ped's office have a walk in after hours clinic?
Look on the back of your medical card. There should be a "nurse on call" number.
My daughter has Acid reflux, this sounds more like a sinus infection with the bad breath. Get him in the doc, tummy pain could be Pneumonia. Keep calling the doc..
Good luck.
My youngest had that when he was a toddler. He would tell me that his belly was hot. He complained the most after eating, especially if it was something with red sauce. The doctor put him on a 3 week course of Prevacid. (I think we had to cut the pills in half). It cleared it right up, and he hasn't had a problem since. But do take him to the doctor before doing anything.
