google no time for flash cards it is a great resource. Also this site http://www.teachpreschool.org/ is great too.
I am looking for a website or blog that has resources & activities for toddlers (2-3 years old). Not the type of thing that requires child to sit in front of computer but things I can prepare to do with them. Looking for some activities to keep us busy & having fun this summer. Thanks!

Hi there,
First, this is a link to my preschool's blog. These are reports of things we did, activities and what we 'got out of them'.

Second, google "preschool XXXX activities"... the XXX is whatever you might like to do with the kiddos. (animals, camping, insects...whatever topics you like) I relied on this when I was researching ideas for my curriculum.
I also highly recommend the MaryAnn Kohl books. I have her "Preschool Art" book and it's exceptional. It divides activities up by season, gives a recommened age (starts at three, but there is quite a bit that 2s can do as well) and let's you know how much adult assistance is needed: these are symbol boxes at the top of each page. Her MathArts book also have very fun, easy educational activities that don't seem "educational" at all. I recommend buying the Preschool Art book, and checking out her other offerings at your library. Especially her "Mudpies" book.
Well, not to toot my own horn, but I have a blog that links to lots of tutorials/crafts (many for the 3 year old range...) I post a new tutorial every day. It is in my profile if you are interested.
If you are looking for activities outside the house, you can check out the Colorado Parent Magazine. It's free and you can find in all of the grocery stores, libraries etc.
Also you can check out my blog kidsindenver.net. We haven't researched places in Castle Rock but we've been to quite a few places in Littleton.
I don't like Disney at all but their magazine Family Fun and their website have a lot of good ideas for crafts. I also am signed up for emails from Parents and Parenting magazine that send a link for craft/activites a few times a week.
