Good Morning S., a lot of children go through this stage. 3 of our gr children will eat just about anything put in front of them. They are 9,8,4. The other 2 that I watch daily are as picky as they come. Zane the youngest is 17 months old and he will basically only eat, Oatmeal, cheerios, cheetos, sometimes we can get chicken pieces (nuggets) in him. With him you can't try and feed him anything he will fight it and just ignore it. He used to like bananas, apple slices, grapes, sometimes I can get him to eat a small PBJ sandwich. For his first birthday last Oct, I had to force (gently) a small piece of cake with frosting on it on his mouth for him to even taste it.
All the while he is shaking his head, pulling away.
When he was little he like your little girl ate everything, fruits, veggies, scrambled eggs, some meats..
Zane drinks a lot of water and milk daily, he is still gaining weight maybe not the correct kind and getting taller. We wish we knew how to get him to eat better too.
When he had his one yr check up the Dr. and nurse said he was doing OK and not to worry about it much. As long as he was still gaining weight, and getting taller he was OK. He would come around. Their tastes change just like ours, and they go through growth spurts where everything seems to be out of the "norm" But we're still trying.
God Bless you and yours
