Here's one from amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/My-Tot-Clock-Children-Better-So/dp/.... I just did search for "toddler clock" and found a couple.
Hi all, a friend of mine in Europe has a neat little alarm clock for her four year old. It has a bunny on it that closes its eyes and flops its ears over when it is time to sleep. When it is time to wake up, the bunny opens its eyes and perks up its ears. The parent can set the times that the bunny goes to sleep and wakes up, and my friend says that it has helped her son to understand when it is a reasonable time to get out of bed. Does anyone know if something like this is available here?

Another idea - does your son know his numbers? Is he a quick learner? We found a clock at Target for $7 where each number is a different color. The hour is a green number. Initially we taught our daughter two numbers - "7" and "4". We told her she has to stay in her room until the green number is "7" for the mornings and "4" for naptime. She just turned 3 in August and she's been using the clock for probably a good 6 months, if not longer.
My niece had the same issues. . . bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at 5:00 a.m.
My sis-in-law got an automatic timer, and hooked it up to a fun and special lamp (I think it was a frog) in her room. The rule was, that when the lamp "wakes up", my niece could get out of bed. Worked like a charm!!
Good luck!

this one has helped us!
My mother found one for me that I use with my 4 year old. (I have yet to try it with my 16 month old.) It's call Good Nite Lite and she ordered online after hearing about it on Good Morning America. It really helps with my son, he comes in our room in the morning & we tell him he has to stay in his room until his "sun" comes up.....and he listens!!! :) It stopped him from waking us up at 4 or 5 a.m. The whole concept is based on the moon & sun reprsenting night & day. you can check it out & order online at www.goodnitelite.com Hope this helps!
I bought the Good Night Lite, http://www.goodnitelite.com/index.php, which is the same concept, only the light glows as a blue moon at night, and turns to an orange sun for whatever time you set it. My daughter is just 2, and even though she will still wake at night, she knows she may not get into bed with us until the light turns orange. She loves the light itself, calls it the happy moon, because it is smiling.
If you don't want to spend the money, a friend of mine had success by simply plugging her regular nightlight into a timer, and setting it for the appropriate time. These timers are only $10, and it worked very well for her daughter. I just thought my little one would get a kick out of the moon and sun concept, and she really does.
Maybe you can ask your friend to purchase one and send it to you and offer to pay the cost for it and shipping fees.
Good question. Does this work for an 11 month old. Mine has an automatic alarm that goes off in her body at 5:30 and I would like to change this.
