My 2 y/o got the Fisher Price digital camera for Christmas and loves it! He has dropped it and kicked it and it still works! It is a little pricey and doesn't have a lot of megapixels and is a little slow, but for them it's fine. Good luck!
Does anyone have any feedback on any toddler appropriate cameras? My daughter will be 3 and wants a camera...I want something that is easy enough for her to use but will last a while, takes decent pictures, and can be dropped. thanks.

Grandma bought the FisherPrice one for my son's 3rd birthday last year. He LOVES it! It takes "OK" pictures, but the best part is it is made for the kiddos, so it is water proof and durable.
The kid tough cameras are great. My son has had his for two years now. They don't take the best pictures but it takes good enough for them. There is no flash on the one that we have so you have to watch the lighting. That is my only complaint about it.
Fisher price kid tough. We have one and my daughter loves it and it takes great pictures. It's been abused and it still works.
little tykes has one. I think Disney makes one too. You can find them at Toys r us. I think they are around $45.
I am also thinking about a camera to get my soon-to-be-5 y/o. I have looked at the reviews for both the Fischer Price and Little Tykes camera and I would say FP has better quality all around. The one complaint that was consistent with both cameras is that they eat LOADS of batteries. It takes 4 AA to operate and when the batteries run out, all the pictures in the camera are lost.
Just something to think about.

Fisher Price digital.
Fisher price digital camera is THE way to go!!! It is very durable, very very easy and cute. I warn you though they are pretty expensive. I lucked out and found one at a garage sale and even though it had no usb cord, memory card or instructions it is PERFECT for my 3 1/2 yr old and she loves it. Very self explanatory. I decided that if something happens to this one I would for sure spend the bucks on a new one because I can tell it would be worth it and last a long time.
Hi C.,
The link below will get you to the kind of camera you're looking for. I saw it advertised on TV, but do not have any experience with it myself. However, it does sound like a good camera. Hope it works for you. ls

Either the Fisher Price or Little Tykes cameras are great! You can drop them over and over again and they still work! I think Little Tykes may have the edge as I think you can use theirs in the water too!
Wow, your three year old wanting a camera...when we were kids that was never an option...funny how things have changed. Fisher Price has a wonderful camera that is easy for kiddos your daughters age. It is shatter proof when dropped and comes in blue or pink. The digital one is newer, I don't know if they still have the film one available, but that was a big deal a few years ago. Several of my friends have the digital one for their kids and love it. Very easy to use for them and the kids. And you can always delete pictures that aren't needed...and she'll be able to use it for years. Good luck and God Bless.
