my son has a bed that is a baby bed and transforms to a toddler bed. Toddler blankets do fit good. I also use lap afgans and he has 2 homemade quilts. no I dont use a top sheet. just remeber I dont tuck in toddler blankets.
Happy Monday Mamas! My daughter has a pink toddler bed and we have a brown/pink polka dot sheet and comforter (toddler sized). My question is for those of you who have a child in a toddler bed....what kind of blankets do you use? She usually wants more than one blanket so she can snuggle up and I honestly think that the toddler one isn't large enough, but think a twin would be too big?
So...
1. If your child is in a toddler bed, what kind of blanket do you use? Toddler comforter, twin comforter, other blanket?
2. Do you use sheets in addition to the fitted ones?
I'm selling her crib accessories including the dust ruffle and comforter that came with it and the toddler comforter she has matches it so I was considering selling that and getting a larger blanket...just not sure what kind?
Thanks!

My parents kept giving us lap blankets, and/or travel blankets. I find those to be the perfect size for our little men who are both in toddler beds. Other than that, twin are the best. We do not use another sheet for them because they get upset when their bedding isn't "just right".
Good luck!
We use fleece blankets on my daughters bed. I always buy them bigger so they are able to be used longer. We have some great homemade fleece blankets are super warm and cozy.
I also have a crib that turns into todd. bed.
I use the fitted sheet, no flat sheet and some little blankets that fit. I have had my eyes on some IKEA toddler bedding though.
I did try the flat sheet (a twin folded in half long ways) but always found it in a wad at the bottom, so I just stopped using it.
