If she is JUST 2, she is probably too young. She really needs to be showing all the signs of readiness before attepmting this.
Is she dry at night?
Does she know when she is going?
Is she really interested in the potty or is it just you that wants her to be trained?
I had 3 girls. The first two trained when they were 2 1/2. I trained them in the summer without any pants. It only took a couple of days. #3 was a different story. She was 3 1/2, but when she was really ready it truely took ONE DAY! I have always thought it is a matter of who is training who, if you start too early, it just lengthens the time.
If she is showing all the signs of readiness, I would start with cute panties...("don't pee on Tinkerbell"), NO PULL UPS and be consistent...NO DIAPERS EVER, a potty chair, a set up reward system with great excitement from Mom when she is successful, talk about what big girls do, and alot of patience. At just 2, she is still a baby and might not be ready even though she can talk about it, doesn't mean she is physically ready. She'll get it!
