Time to Put Swing Away?

I was just wondering if I should put the baby swing away. My daughter is 9 months old. We haven't used it in awhile...but I know as soon as we take it apart...we'll probably need it. Anyone have an idea of how long they used theirs for?

What can I do next?

I think we put ours away when our son was about that age. He was mobile and didn't want to be kept in one place anymore. He had places to be and things to see. I'm sure your daughter isn't going to want it much longer either especially if she's crawling. She'll have other things to see and do. It won't be missed.

We had put the swing away by the time my daugher was 9 months...if you haven't used it in a while, you probably won't. And either way, if you feel like you want to use it again, you can always put it back together again! Just check the weight limitations to make sure your daughter isn't getting to big for it.

Yes put it away-But we have a regular toddler swing hanging from the ceiling-something we need when we can't get outside.

I just passed mine on to another mommy to be and my son is 5 months old. He really isn't interested in the swing anymore, he likes his stationary thing(looks like a walker) We decided it had to go after it just sat there for a whole month without being used. I say put it away! good luck :)
ps. We also let the bouncer go...

yes put it away. if you haven'd used it in awhile you probably won't again. i think 9 months depending on weight is alittle old for a baby swing. i agree w/the toddler swing idea. you can always hold on to it incase you have another or you can always give it to someone expecting later on.

Well we used ours right up until he learned to stop himself lol, we kept it out for the longest time, i finally told myself theres no need to take up space with something he isnt using so i stored it away, i mean if your not using it why not just store it right? I just see it as now i have it for when my friend brings her little one over.

We used our swing until the very last minute, our daughter loved it and so did we, but I would say if you don't use it often and if your baby is near the high weight limit for it its time to put it away.
