I want to know if any moms out there still head out on late nights with the girls. just hanging out having fun. I would like to know were can I meet mature or how can i meet new friends to go out with once in a while.
I'm not sure where you are, but I'm game....my friends aren't really on the kiddie track yet and they got distant after I had my daughter, or will invite me to go shopping or whatever so long as I leave my daughter at home....not sure what the kid phobia is about. But I'm a single mommy so I don't have a lot of options....but I can get a baby sitter sometimes.
Go to the local library, there should (or at least usually is) a posting of local clubs or social groups. Find one you're interested in. Or check at the local craft store. There used to be a scrapbook store in Orland Park that had a cork board filled with people looking to get together and scrapbook. So just look around, you will be amazed at where you can find other people in the same boat as you.
I joined a ladies bowling league. To be totally honest I stink at bowling but, it's one night out every week and the people are fun and interesting.

i just got together with old friends from H.S. and although it nice to get out of the house and fun to hang out with them (there so funny) we don't have much in common any more....they have no kids no boyfriends/husbands. So when we go out they are kinda mad that i cna't stay out till 2am.....
So i enjoy going out with them but would also like to meet other people that are still on my level and have more in common.
I am 25(just turned...i feel olddddd) mom to two great boys 3yr and 1.5yr. they keep me busy. But i don't want to be one of those moms that stops her social life because of the kids....
I don't want to stay out all night but i want to be able to get out with or w/o them and just enjoy being out....
My hubby and i are looking to meet other couples to go out with once in a while. Dinner, movie out to have a drink etc.....
So what do you like to do??????
I had my son when I was seventeen and lost all of my friends too. I never gotinto the clubbing scene, obviously, and have tried a few "late nights" with the girls but I can't let myself have very much fun bc I know in the morning I have to wake up with my son. I'm much more the type of person to just head to dinner or something more tame rather than a late night out.
I'm twenty two as well and am pregnant again. I'd love to get to know you and maybe meet up sometime. I know what its like to feel all alone in the mommy world!!

Im in the same situation...I recently started going out? more like going upstairs to the neighbors with my husband downstairs or the baby monitor attached. My son is the same age as ur baby and i have a friend with a baby girl that age. we r always trying to go out. Yesterday was my first night with him at my moms and me going out. I kinda enjoyed myself after a few hours of calling and worrying. But if your ever intrested in having a girls night let me know Im morethan up for it!
