good morning mamas! i am sitting here waiting on my son to get done in the bathroom and thought i'd toss a question out there. What successes do you have to report this week?

my 5 1/2 year old is finally dry at night. yaaaaay! he went several nights dry in his pullup so we started a "dry nights" chart that if full, merits a trip to chuck e. cheese. while i DON'T believe that you can really "train" for nighttime pt, i do think there is an awareness, even very deep down, once the body is "ready", you still have to mentally realize what's going on down there...anyway, i do believe that SOME encouragement can be helpful, once the body is ready. ANYWAY....

three weeks later we have a full chart and he has been dry this whole time - even through strep throat! we dispensed with the pullups a few nights ago and i'm soooo excited.

so what are your stories!? and congrats in advance, i know you mamas will all have some great ones!

What can I do next?

Yay - great milestone!

Accomplishment so far this week is that yesterday I jogged for 30 minutes without stopping for the first time ever. I am incredibly slow (I have walked faster than my average pace yesterday) but I did it. Now that I know that I *can* do it, it'll be easier to do it regularly and practice getting faster.

Congrats!! My daughter was also about that age when she was dry at night, even though she was potty trained at 2.5. That's awesome!!

This week I personally hope to finish my accounting class. I have this week's work PLUS my final, which is not due until next Saturday, but I'm SO over accounting.

My daughter has her S. dance competition of the season and my boys (including my husband) will all be coming to this one. The house is clean, the kids are being really well behaved, and today is spring!! We're just celebrating life :).

i am half way to meeting my incremental weightloss goal. I wanted to get under 200 lbs. I have lost 13 lbs and have 13 more to go! Once I rget under 200, I will set a new goal to get under 190. My ultimate goal is 160. Baby steps.

Congrats to you - and everyone on their successes!

Yesterday was an AWFUL morning in our house getting out of the door. This morning the kids got dressed with no issues and when I dropped them at daycare they both had smiles on their faces - hurray!!!!

I hit double digits on running for the first time! 10 miles!! Even more so, I controlled my body during it. I didn't huff air, powered through a side stitch at mile 2, maintained a 9 min. mile pace, and I refueled my body at mile 5. It was good to see how I can experiment with my body to stay safe while running. I feel great and it's the next day! Not sore at all!

My son and I are also taking ice skating lessons and he is getting so much more comfortable. He is attempting to glide across the ice more and does a lot less marching. He's actually trying to skate now!

I also got my oil changed. haha kinda lame, but I'm happy I got it done! :-)

Congratulations on the dry nights!! That's FANTASTIC! (My son is 7 and we still very rarely have a dry night).

My success?
We are finally credit card debt free for the first time EVER in our married life (10 years)!!!!!!!!! I just made the last payment to Home Depot (for a washer and dryer we got last July). At the highest, our CC debt was $26,000. And we are DONE. We haven't used a card (besides that Home Depot and my Old Navy which I put VERY SMALL purchases on when they are running a promotion) in at LEAST 4 years, if even longer. I'm so DONE with credit cards!!! Now we just have to pay off the deductible from our daughter's birth last August and the truck, and all that will be left are student loans (ugh) and the house payment. YIPEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely cannot wait until June when we make the last truck payment! We just might get to take a REAL family vacation this year!!
