I too felt my son moving early. I remember it was the day of my grandfathers funeral and I was laying in bed. I think I was about 12 weeks or so, so I think it is possible. Congratulations.
I am 9 weeks pregnant with baby numer 2 and I swear I already started feeling the baby move just yesterday. Is this possible this early? Has anyone else felt their baby move as early as 9 weeks? I don't really remember what it felt like with my daughter, but it keeps happening and I can't think of any thing else that it could be other than my sweet bundle of joy that is growing bigger and bigger every day inside of me! Just wondering your experiece! Thanks
EDIT: I know it is NOT gas! I know what THAT feels like and this is not it. I also know you feel #2 a lot sooner than the first, even though they are so very small.

there's alot going on in there... i felt something the DAY i got pregnant and everyday since. so maybe it isn't the baby MOVING but all kinds of other stuff going on. though i wouldn't doubt it cuz our first ultra sound our kid had 'bicycle legs' going so fast i wondered how i didn't feel it!!!
congratulations!
I say yes, yes and yes. Gotta be baby! And congratulate your husband on his cancer recovery. I am uterine cancer survivor myself and I know it wasn't easy.
If you think you feel your baby, then you feel your baby! Some people are just more in tune with their bodies, so I think it is completely possible! Or maybe youre further along than you think, Im not sure if you were trying for a while but maybe you are a few weeks further than you think. Who knows? But just enjoy every feeling you have and if you think it is your baby, then embrace that and dont worry about the people that will tell you that it's gas. You know your body and the difference!
Congrats! Enjoy!
I felt the first flutters with my 2nd at 13 weeks. My Dr did say it was early but possible. I am not sure about 9 weeks. I am now 23 weeks and have really been feeling the kicks and punches for the last 4 weeks. My husband has been able to feel the baby for the last 3 weeks, so it is definetly earlier than we did with our first one.
Your baby is the size of a grape, so probably not. I'm going to guess it is gas.
with my first pregnancy I didn't know what the baby moving felt like until it was obvious. But with the second, like you, I felt it very early on. I know there are lots of people that say that isn't possible, but I did feel those bubbly feelings of movement that I now knew what they were as early as 11 wks along.
I think it's possible, I felt mine at 9 weeks....what a amazing feeling. Congrats on the baby!!!
No, it's not possible. It usually isn't detectable until they're close to 24 weeks because of how small they are and how much your abdomen is expanding in preparation of their growth.
I'd love to tell you it is your sweet bundle, but it's almost certainly something else.
Good luck with your pregnancy!
I for sure felt baby #1 (and only) at 16 weeks. Maybe even 12. But my body is hypersensitive.
check out babycentre.com and join their baby due date month club. All mom's due the same month as you can and do tell what's going on and if you have any questions, chances are, someone would know the answer or is experiencing the same thing as you. I totally lived by that site and it was great to know "I wasn't alone".
