A.M.
I am thankful I have at least one child and that she is so beautiful and that her surgery is over and she is doing better.
Well, I am up in the middle of the night after a loud, drawn out noise outside the window. It is probally some lowlife stealing my child's outdoor decorations from her grandma again, but I will find out tomorrow. I turned on the exterior lights, the alarm is always on, and the doors are always locked. Besides 911, we have protection so I don't worry alot.
It got me thinking though. At times like this I appreciate having another adult in the house. I appreciate living in a neighborhood now where the cops respond fast and crime is less than the places I used to live. I am glad I finally got fed up enough to change jobs, divorce my first husband, and move forward to a better life. We were in counseling for years and I tried everything to make it work+no kids.
My life is not what I thought it would be at 40, but it is getting better. My child brings a joy I never imagined possible. My husband and I have a good marriage now that we quit arguing about his family and finances.
What are you thankful for this Christmas?
I am thankful I have at least one child and that she is so beautiful and that her surgery is over and she is doing better.
This year I have two things I didn't have last year: a car and a job. Those things are what I am most thankful for.
So far a successful pregnancy with baby #2. Had just had a m/c last year at this time. Also just the fact that I am alive and I have a husband and daughter I love dearly. We fight, we have money trouble sometimes, my kid doesn't listen at times---but who cares!
I am thankful my husband goes off to work each day so that i can stay home and raise our wonderful, healthy son. I am also thankful that he loves his job, makes things so much easier in life. I am also thankful that we are able to have a wonderful Christmas for our son, and a wonderful Christmas dinner, were others won't have much, or anything. Because of this, I am really happy to give to others and lucky to do so. I am apart of a MOMS club (so thankful for these ladies) and we've adopted a family for Christmas. It's nice to help out and make sure other kids have a nice Christmas.
I also enjoy baking for others this time of year and plan to pass out cookies to organizations that have helped our MOMS club with activities. I could go on and on, I am just thankful for everything I have.
Merry Christmas
