My sister just found out she is pregnant with her second child. She is really excited and wants to tell her husband tonight but wants to make it extra special. Any suggestions on how she could do this? thanks!

What can I do next?

I don't like the idea of including the older sib in the telling. Pregnancies can be a precarious thing.

That said, a dinner of baby carrots, baby corn and sliders can be a clever.
If you drink, hand him a six pack in which half are subbed out with bottled water. Tie a baby bootie to his key ring.

Congrats on her second.

Tell him you got him a Christmas present and that's pretty expensive, but you know that he'll love it. Then tell him you just can't wait until then and then lift up your shirt and have a Christmas tag taped to your tummy addressed "Merry Christmas Daddy."

Get a package of buns and put them in the oven. Tell him to see if there is anything in the oven (just put 1 in there).

Get him an ice cream cake saying "Thanks for knocking me up!"

Get her 1st child a tshirt saying "Big Brother" or "Big Sister" and see if hubby notices.

I had my son tell my husband when he got home from work. I don't see how that's any less precious then making a bunch of "baby" food in the hopes he will get it...

We had decided that we needed to finish the basement if we had a second child. So... when we started trying, I bought a "big brother" t-shirt, bought a pregnancy test and got the name of a good contractor. I took the test and then put the test (in a ziploc), the t-shirt and the business card next to his coffee cup. He figured it out pretty quickly.

We told our extended family by taking a picture of the digital test ("pregnant") sitting on top of a calendar with my due date circled. We then emailed/ texted the picture to our extended family. It was cute and allowed us to tell everyone at the same time.

She could write him a love letter. Tell him how wonderful he is, outlining the special things that she loves about him. Then talk about what a great father he is. At the end of the letter, she tells him that she is thankful for God's blessings, and for being his wife...and she is so thankful for the new little blessing to come.

Then she hands him the results of the pregnancy test.

We did the Big Sister shirt idea for the grandparents. It made one GMA cry and then she had to explain it to GPA.

I couldn't wait to tell my husband.....how is she standing it!?!?
