So I was a fan of these soaps for years. My bro got me hooked back in the early 90's during the whole Janet putting her sister in the well( AMC) and when Todd and Blair first met(OLTL). I was really upset when they took them off, well at first. The story line got so convaluted even for a soap for me to watch!

Anyway they are bringing them back in April. Do any of you plan to watch? I used to watch it on Saopnet at night b/c I work during the day, but I hear it's going to be on huluplus this go around.

Of course this has nothing to do with parenting, but Im just curious :)

What can I do next?

I'm going to watch OLTL on Hulu, it looks like Vicki, Dorian and most of the Buchannans will be back for more drama! Even David Vickers (my guilty pleasure) will be back. I haven't seen anything on Jessica and some of the re-cast decisions are iffy. My biggest disappointment so far is the interference in the Michael/Starr relationship on GH, they are REALLY cute together! I also like Carly and Todd, and the GH writers are making good and sure we remember them! I see Starr, Todd and John McBain returning to GH, there is no way Hulu is going to have near the same number of viewers. Just grateful someone is putting the greatness of OLTL back on the air!! LOVE!

I've watched all the ABC soaps most of my life and I love them all. Some of the peeps from OLTL have been on GH for a bit, but they all seem to have all been called out of Port Charles for different reasons.... I am assuming because soon they will be back in LLanview. OOOHH I can't wait..

I thought it was just going to be on Hulu? According to some ppl on the facebook OLTL page plus is only if your watching on a phone or something...

Yup! Very excited! This may sound silly, but I'll say it anyway. One of my best parenting role models was Vicki Buchanan! (I'd say all her married names to show off, but I'd mess up). :-)
As a mom, she didn't always approve of her children's choices, but she ALWAYS supported them! To me - that's the best thing a parent can do. Even Todd...he can be such a despicable character (although hilarious), but his love for Starr just shines through when they are together! Yes, I know they are just actors, saying lines, so maybe I should credit the writers for being good parents. I love my soaps for a distraction during the day!

I used to watch AMC in college because my roomate watched it. I've been a fan of GH since I was a child because of my Mom. I was always curious about OLTL. I think my sister watched that one for a while. Some of the OLTL characters came over to GH for a year. They wrote them off of GH the other day. I'm hoping they come back and now I'm considering watching OLTL to see Todd, John, and Star. I don't if they are all going to back to OLTL or just some of them.

My grandparents watched these two soaps every night since they starting airing them 40+ years ago. They were heartbroken when they stopped filming them.

Unfortunately they don't have a fast enough internet connection to be able to watch these shows on Hulu and what-not.

I was talking to my mom yesterday about this. She told me that they were bringing everyone, and all the shows back for a reunion, and that they would be airing it on the internet, or places other than the regular TV channels. Not sure if thats true, but that is what she told me! I watched all of them for years and years, and gave it up when I had kids. I was tired of being a prisoner to it!
