Took my five year old to see it. I do not think that a 2yr old will have the patience to sit and watch it. It is more for the older ones who understand it better. My son loved it, but its one of those where it would not be fun for a younger child.

went to the drive-in last week to see this movie and the 5 and 6 year old loves it! We liked it , too. It is definitely appropriate, but my 2 year old is mover and shaker and wouldn't sit still through the whole movie. I guess that depends on your child. We typically just wait until the dvd comes out with the little ones.

We JUST got home from seeing this movie. I loved it, but my girls are 6 and 8 and the 6 year old still got a little scared when the favored characters were fighting or seemed to die. When they were that little I waited until the DVD came out! At home they could run around and scream during the movie or we could turn it off if it got too scary.

The movie is rated PG for violence.

i took my 7 yr old daughter to see this movie last week and she loved it..she laughed through the whole movie. i liked it to but the violence in the movie threw me off a bit i thought my daughter would get scared but it didn't seem to phase her.but as far as taking a 2 yr old to see it i would think it is a little inappropriate for her with all the violence when my kids were that small i never took them to the movies..we don't watch that much tv we are always out doing something.

The movie was really cute. My 2 and 6 year olds loved it. It's also good because it's not real long like some of them are. I think an hour and a 1/2 so it's easier to sit through.

My 5 year old went yesterday with his dad. He loved it. That's all he has talked about yesterday and today.

My local group is researching a movie trip for our 21 month olds. We found out that the free Summer morning movies can be turned down to accommodate younger children. Our Ped.'s advised to wait until their ears are at least three because of the loudness. Check with yours for their opinion. Good luck!

We took my 3-year old last week and he loved it. It was a really good movie, but I guess like most of them it was more for the older kids (story line anyway). I'm not saying younger kids won't like it, I know mine did. This is the second movie we had taken him too (also after he turned 3). We left my 17 month old at my moms. I hate how loud the movie theaters can get. And I just didn't think either of my kids would sit still that young (less than 3).

Don't mean to be a spoil-sport, but... I don't think any movie is appropriate for a 2 year old. Having one that young sit in front of a TV or any screen for more than an hour is setting up really bad habits regarding tv watching later in life. They need to MOVE MOVE MOVE!!! How does your 2 year old even know about it? Too much TV right there. Ronald McD was at an event this weekend we took my toddler to, and we went the other way. There is no need for her to even know about him or that restaurant. People are WAY to into media for kids that age!!!

Our two-year old liked it, but I regret taking her. If I had noticed the PG rating beforehand, I could have saved myself from feeling like an old lady when all the violence started to bother me. Here is more about it: http://www.theburghbaby.com/2008/06/if-youre-old-and-you-...

I took both my 2 and 5 year old to see the movie. The 2 year old didn't really care much about it. I couldn't even concentrate on watching it until he fell asleep. The story line is a little too old with not enough action to keep the little guy glued. The 5 year old loved it.
