Does anyone know how cancelling your membership at the Little Gym works? I didn't find anything on the paper I signed or any info on the website. I tried contacting the gym but no one gets back to me.

My 20 month old has been going there for less than a month and is not enjoying the class. They are trying to teach the toddlers little things but my daughter already does it all (i.e. climibing, jumping, flips, rolling over, catching bubbles etc.) Its just not worth the $85.90 a month. I'm not on an automatic billing. I was wondering has anyone ever cancelled their membership; if so what happened? Did you get any of your money back? Because paying $219 upfront I just wonder if i'll ever see any of that money ever again.

What can I do next?

Hi, S.!
We had one here. Ours had the policy of "No play, no pay." We pulled our daughter out and got our money back. I did it in person. They didn't try to talk me out of it or suggest that I try something different. They honored my request and did what I asked them to do amicably. It is a franchise, so, I'm sure that they have to follow certain guidelines. However, because they are individually owned and operated, some of the policies and practices may vary. I hope you get a friendly resolution and find something else fun to do with your little girl that is a better fit for her. Best wishes:)

They are not contacting you because you paid upfront. They will try to wait you out and exhaust the money you have already paid. Put you wishes in writing, mail it to them where they have to sign for it and you can confirm that they received it.

If you paid for it with your credit card, your credit card company can help since it has only been a month.

You may or may not see that money again depending on the policy that was a part of the agreement your signed and your ability to be savvy about getting your money. Another course of action if you are on Face Book. See if their company has a face book page, become a friend on their page and then just post your experience. They will try to right this wrong, quick fast and in a hurry.

I hope this helps. I wish you success.

Since you paid up front, they will most likely try to talk you into a different class that would be better suited for your daughter. We didn't have that experience there, but when I asked up-front when paying for the semester, that's what they said they would do. Keep calling them until you get a hold of them; if not, is there a corporate number that you can call? Good luck!

I think it just depends on the location since its a franchise. When I signed up my son I asked up front if I would get reimbursed if I got a job and wasn't able to finish out the semester. She said yes, just give her a two week notice.

At the Denton location I was partially refunded. I did it over the phone and they mailed me a check. Try going in person if no one is getting back to you. Good luck!
