Anyone know of any restaurants open on Thanksgiving? I am moving that week and will not be able to cook or hold a dinner at my place. I am looking for an afordable place that will serve both a Thanksgiving meal and items off their menu as well. My son cannot have milk and will not be able to eat most Thanksgiving meals served at restaurants. Any ideas?

What can I do next?

Try going to opentable.com. It is a site used to make reservations at restaurants. Not all restaurants in this area are on opentable, but it is a good place to start to find places that are open. They also offer links to the restaurants websites to find out what they will be serving. You can sort by area. It also give you a price range for each restaurant.

The Gaylord does a wonderful dinner, for an inexpensive alternative Luby's has LOTS of options since your son has limitations.
I've been to Luby's on Thanksgiving before with my husband's family... pretty darn tasty! Just get there EARLY or LATE!!! All the blue hairs are there waiting in line when they open :)

If you want to eat at home (which I doubt since you're moving) here are the best places that I know of that make complete meals "To Go":
Central Market
La Madeline (Oh, good gracious it's GOOD)
Market Street

Try Buca di Beppo if you aren't opposed to an Italian twist to the usual turkey dinner.

I believe you can order a full Thanksgiving meal from Boston Market.
