Yes, especially because you said she isn't drinking anything. Take her to the ER now to avoid dehydration.

ETA - Bless her heart (and yours, M..) I hope that she will be okay. Flu is scary for a child this young. Take care of yourself, clean like a banshee and wear a mask if you can stand it. Get rest when you can too, so that you don't come down with the flu as well.

Original:
I hope by the time you have my response, that you have gotten your baby to the doctor, whether it is ER, or Urgent Care. If she gets dehydrated, it could be very serious.

Just want you to know this, even if you have already taken her to the hospital - just because she "won't" drink anything doesn't mean that you don't make her. You get an eyedropper and force her cheeks open with one hand, fingers on both sides of her cheeks between her teeth, and pop open her mouth, and squirt Pedialyte down her throat. When she cries, she swallows. Keep doing it so that she doesn't get dehydrated. If you don't, she could be in dire straits. The hospital will have to put an IV in her to hydrate her, and that's a great deal harder than what I'm telling you to do. To make it worse, a dehydrated baby sometimes has to have a "cut-down" where they have to do a slight surgery in order to find a vein, if they can't get a needle in one because of the dehydration. NOT FUN for the baby, I can tell you.

You have to take the bull by the horns, sweetie. If she's your first baby, it's a learning experience. Hugs and hang in there.

Call your ped's office and speak with the on-call physician so they can walk you through what to do.

What is her temperature?
Our pediatrician said it wasn't that high unless it was over 103 degrees.
If Tylenol brings it down, then you can manage it.
Have her sip water and Pedialyte.
As long as you can keep her hydrated, it won't be a problem if she doesn't eat anything for a few days.
Have her suck on pedialyte Popsicles if she likes them.
A warm bath can be soothing when she's feeling sick.
As long as she's wetting diapers several times a day, she's doing all right.
With the emergency rooms flooded with flu patients right now, I'd hold off going there unless it was absolutely necessary.
Call your pediatrician's nurse line and ask for advice.

Out of fear of dehydration, I would take her to urgent care or ER.

Very high temps can result in dehydration faster, how high was the fever?Anything over 103 needs to be looked into lab taken, check the eyes ears for infection throat for infection,no BM today and lesser than usual diaper changes is a good sign of dehydration plus not eating or drinking.
I was just in the ER last saturday then at the drs office Monday morning then admitted to the peds unit till Tuesday for high fever 105.3 and dehydration it was an ear infection & Roseola virus it was scary never seen a temp that high ever not with any of my 4 kiddos.Temps aren't an illness itself it's a good indicator the body is doing what it is meant to do fighting off infection

Call your pediatrician. I realize it's the weekend, but they should have a service. Speak to the nurse on call. He/she will be able to ask a series of questions to help you determine whether or not to take her to the ER.

As others have mentioned, staying hydrated is very important. Eating is not that important. We were very fortunate in that our kids would drink Pedialite (which would be a very good thing for her to drink). If you think it would help, you could try adding a little Sprite to it - might make it a little easier on her tummy. Try to have her sip it. Just a couple of sips here and there could help her quite a bit.

Good luck!!! It's so hard when the little ones get sick.

is she lethargic? does she just lay there ?? if you cant perk her up with a bit of pedialyte.. yes go to the er..

but .. try to give her pedialyte by the syringe at home. try to get 5 ml in her mouth every 5 minutes.. you might be able to stay out of the hospital if you do this..

my 18 m onth old got sick and he had to be admitted.. 18 hours of ivs.. but the pediatrician was not kind to me afterward.. told me that I could have kept him home and given him pedialyte by syringe.. that in 3rd world countries.. folks dont have ivs and hospitals.. and they rehydrate kids all the time.. pedialyte will help.. keep putting it in the child.. even if he vomits ...

Have her suck on popcicles of she won't drink anything. They have Pedialite ones.. I also used to freeze fruit juice for those occasions. Definitely call your pediatrician. If it's after hours, try the message service. Someone should call you back within half an hour.

Good luck! It's so scary when your little one gets sick!

She should be drinking something even water but pedialyte would be best.
If you can't get her to drink then either call her ped or take her to the ER.
