Tenderness

I didn't have any breast tenderness with my 2nd. I was waiting for it after my 1st, so it was a nice surprise to not have to deal with that again.

Remember that everyone is different and has different experiences during pregnancy - even every pregnancy is different. I had neither breast tenderness nor morning sickness during mine...

I'm pregnant with my 4th and I've never had breast tenderness...all healthy pregnancies!

Every pregnancy is different - it's a possible side effect of pregnancy, but not at all one we all experience. I wouldn't worry and you can also ask your Dr. at your next check up.

My first pregnancy, I was REALLY tender. This time, not really. Maybe it is because my threshold for pain has increased from nursing? I don't know, but I am feeling fortunate that I wasn't in as much pain this time around.

It's pretty common and normal. It just hurts like ****!!!!!!!!!!!! Mine were sore until halfway through my second tri. Then again when my milk dried up (p.s. it hurts even worse!) Heat pads and a good supporting bra should help :) good luck and CONGRATS!!!!!!

Every woman is different so is every pregnancy. I have 3 children and while I could find similarities between all three, they all had their differences. I'm sure you are not hoping to have tender breasts anyway so don't worry about it. They'll be tender enough once your milk comes in.

BTW: I was breastfeeding my second child who was nearing 3 1/2 years old when I was pregnant with baby number 3 and it was only because my breasts were so tender that I had to wean her.

My breasts didn't get tender during my first pregnancy until my 3rd trimester, so I wouldn't worry about it.
