Hi M.-
My son is a little over 3 months and he is definitely teething. He had a stuffy nose and then it went away and he has been super fussy- not sleeping well, drooling, and can't keep his hands out of his mouth. I felt on his lower gums and sure enough, the 2 little teeth in the front are trying to poke through! Poor guy! I called a nurse at my doc's office and she said to try infant tylenol (no more than 2 doses in 24 hours)and all of the usual stuff- a frozen washcloth, orajel, etc. I guess with your daughter, see if you can see or feel teeth coming in- on the lower gums in the center. If not, she could be fussy from the cold- in which case you should just use baby saline drops and the suction thing to keep her nose clear, run a cool mist humidifier in her room, and make sure she is very hydrated. If you think it's not teething, and she doesn't feel better- maybe call the doc to rule out an ear infection?
Hope this helped!
Take care and Happy New Year!
T.
