Teen Bras

Ok, so my daughter is a little thicker in the middle and barely has anything to put in a bra, but she's been wearing one for quite awhile because it just looks better -- more modest. Now the bras that we have gotten at Target don't fit so well anymore but I don't know where to look for something a little more mature. We've tried on a couple at VC but the cups were too big even in an A. I didn't have this problem with my older daughter as she was thin and everything fit right for her. Anybody have any suggestions?

You can also try Kohl's for good prices. I agree probably a good idea to have her measured if she is okay with that. Have her try on some different ones- sport bra type, underwire, no underwire to see what is comfortable. Also different brands. The sales racks a lot of times will have small cup sizes on sale. Some will also have AA that can be great, I had a few of those when I was a teenager, but can't remember the brand. One brand, not sure which, has inbetween sizes now too, so they have an almost A. I love the brand barely there and they aren't very expensive either. I have worn several of their different ones, used to be the minimal support, no clasp, no wires now I wear one with a little more support and a catch, but it is still really comfy for all day.

i work at jc penney, (in the salon not lingerie) but i know everyone in that dept is trained to brafit. Take her there and they can measure, then find her a bra that fits. they have all different brands and can order online what they dont have inthe store, thats what i have to do as i am a weird size also

I agree to have her professionally fitted. I go to Neimans, Nordstroms and Dilllards.

My 15 yr old wears Victoria's Secret and loves them but she soes not fir the description of your daughter.

Also, my daughter is in cheer and they are required to wear sports bras. The cheerleaders (15-16) HATE them because it makes them look flat and you know how they want to look flattering and cool. However, the sport bra could be an option for your daughter...
