Is the age a little league rule, or just the league you spoke to? Marple has t-ball, Drexel Hill, Swarthmorewoods and Kedron. You could check with them.
My son LOVES baseball. He will be five on May 1st. Unfortunately, the cutoff for Tee Ball is April 30th. He is extremely disappointed. He plays baseball every day! I emailed the local little league commissioner to see if we could get an exception. I asked if he could practice with the team or start May 1st when he turns five. They said, "No, way -- no exceptions" Why couldn't they just let him play two years of tee ball. Anyway, does anyone know of any other little leagues that would let a 4 year old play? Any ideas?

The YMCA has their own leauge for 4-6 year olds.
I think "Little League" teams have to be very strict. But my son played at the Secane YMCA, and I'm sure they could figure something out for you! Good Luck!
