Tear at C-section

I just noticed a tear wear my c-section is. Some light colored bloody stuff came out of it. It looks like there is some rash around it also. Anyone know what I mean and if there is anything I should do about it? By the way, my baby is 9 1/2 now, so this incision isn't anything new. Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Luckily, this problem cleared up on its own and hasn't been a problem since.

Thanks to everyone who offered their concern and advice.

I would call the doctor today. With the incision being an old one (I had 2 sections) this is strange. Since bloody stuff came out it could be infected. I wouldn't wait a week. Staph infections move very quickly. Let us know what the doctor said! Good luck.

Don't mess around with this. Go see a doctor. Staph infections are known to be making it's way into the community.

Also, keep your nose clean and wash your hands.

omg I thought you meant 9 1/2 months old but now I'm seeing you meant 9 1/2 years. I never heard of this happening this late but I've had friends that it happened to. I had 3 sections and mine closed and healed and I never had any problems. I have a friend that it did and she went to the doctor he gave her meds and she was told she was working her stomach muscles too early and to relax a few weeks and give it time to heal. You may have strained that area and pulled it. I moved a certain way yesterday and thought then that maybe this would something that can reinjure really easy. Good luck let us know what happens. Oh just go to your ob and see what he/she sayes.

Call your doctor asap! That sounds like it could lead to something serious.
