I would really consider it. I am a teacher too, and I know when burnout begins, it is nearly impossible to overcome. As a data analyst are you talking about your school's data? If so, you could have a powerful influence to create some effective changes. You are a teacher, so you know the stuff behind the data, and are in a perfect position to know what it means and what to do with it. What you learn could help you drive changes that benefit your school. I would get a lot of satisfaction out of that. Also, find out if you would be able to return to teaching at some point, because you could have that for security if this position does not work out.
