We have been using Huggies Little movers exclusively for about 6 months. I love them. They NEVER leak on my son. However, we are trying to cut back on spending and I was curious about Target's Up&Up brand diapers. Anyone use them? Any comparison to the Huggies brand as far as fit, leaks, etc. Thanks!
We've always used the Pampers and have NEVER had problems - but we also needed to save some $$ on diapers. I bought the Target brand and just use them for daytime and they work just fine! and I am saving tons of dough!! Night time and if we are going on a long trip somewhere I still use the Pampers.
Good luck!

I have used Target brands and Walmart brands. I think they work fine when the kids are older. Started about 12 months and still use at 27 months.

Hi T.. I am a daycare provider and one of my parents brought some diapers that I thought were Huggies. Although they had polka dots on them. I thought maybe the look had changed. I was very impressed and found out that they were the UPandUP brand at Target. I would recommend them. Plus, they are a lot more affordable.

I love Target's Up&Up diapers. I had so many problems with Pampers leaking, and I didn't really care for Huggies (my girls seemed to get more rashes with them). I've never had any leak problems with Target diapers, and neither of my girls got rashes after we switched. We've been using them for about two years now, and will be using them again once Baby is born in January.

I really like the up&up brand... we were/are also huggies users. I use the Target brand during the day and Huggies Overnights at night because they hold more. We also just started doing this to save money and I'm bummed I didn't start a long time ago.

I hate them. I just used the last one last night. They are hard and you can smell urine even if they only went a little bit. The side tabs don't stay in place. My son wakes up in the morning and his diaper is almost all the way off. I have always used luvs so spend the extra 2 bucks and buy the luvs.

The previous version of Target diapers leaked sometimes...but the new version is awesome! They are soft and pretty stretchy. Oh yeah, and the sizing is actually correct. My son is 30-35 pounds depending on the week. He wears a 2t and he is in Target size 4 for 23-37 pounds and still has room to grow- so, you get more diapers that way too. That is all we use, even at night, and never have any leaks at all! In fact since they changed the design we haven't even had any blow-outs when my son has diarrhea when he's sick. Definitely give them a try. You wont be disappointed. The Target wipes are great, too.

My sister has been using the Target brand exclusively for over a year and really likes them. They don't fit as well as the Huggies (in my opinion - I am a big Huggies fan), but they do the job and don't leak (and my nephew is a big boy).
Oh, the only weird thing is that the front and backs are exactly the same, so sometimes it is a little hard to tell at quick glance which is which.

I have used Target brand in the past but I didn't like the last package I bought a few weeks ago. They seemed almost too stiff. My favorite brand is Walgreen brand. I pick them up when they are BOGO or on sale for $6.99 which is often.

Do you have a Sam's Club membership? I get "Members Mark" Premium diapers, which are as good as Huggies, and about $10 less per box. Plus you get a better of value buying a whole box at a time. That's what I would recommend.

I don't like the Target Brand diapers they are to cardboardish to me. We are also Huggies users.
I would look for sales on Huggies Babies r Us usually has a Store coupon plus you can use a manufactor coupon.
Otherwise try Luvs they are cheaper but not as bad as the generic.

I love Target brand diapers. We too were huggies buyers until I needed to borrow a diaper from a friend... That was the last time I bought huggies. I haven't had any problems with leaks (not the case in the overnight with huggies) and they are not as bulky. Keep in mind that in my experience they do run a little bigger than huggies. If you are in a huggies 4 you may want to consider a size 3 in target if you like a more snug fit.

I am a loyal Target brand shopper and use/have used their diapers, formula, baby care products, and toddler foods to to name only a few. We used the Target brand diapers on my daughter and currently use them on my 1 year old son. I have also used Pampers, Huggies and Luvs. I have not noticed any significant difference between the Target brand and the name brands. I have found with both of my kids, though, that something stronger was needed overnight. I used the Huggies Overnights with my daughter. With my son I use a Target brand diaper and put a super maxi pad in the front (Huggies Overnights leaked for him). It works perfectly.

I have used the Target brand diapers on 2 of my kids. When we used the on my son (will be 6 next month) we didn't have any problems and wish we would have started using them earlier. However we have tried them with our daughter (who will 2 next month) and they just aren't the same. They leaked for us. It actually soaked through the diaper, not actually out the side of the diaper, but the actual material. I have notice that most diapers are getting made cheaper and cheaper but the price keeps going up. Thankfully this is the last kid we will have in diapers. I love the Huggies Snug Fit (white & red box)..

I really like the Target Up & Up dipes. I never liked Huggies, used them only briefly. I started with Pampers, then Luvs(to save money), and now Target Up & Up. I find them to be a cross between Pampers/Luvs and Huggies. They are more an absorbant pad (like huggies) with a little gel like Pampers/Luvs. Fit great and absorb great. At $4 a box cheaper than Luvs, I was willing to try them. They do have small packs you can try first so you aren't investing in a big box if you don't like them.
I cloth diaper at home (99%) of the time, so these are the daycare dipes and they have had no problems with them either. The one daycare teacher uses them with her child as well. I have used them a few times overnight and have had no issues with leaks.
My 22mo DD is 25# and we are still meeting the tabs in the middle of her stomach on her size 3 dipes. At this rate she will be in that size until she potty trains. The dipes are well made and haven't had any tab issues (Maybe 1 dipe out of 10 boxes). I'll recommend them.

We started out using Huggies and switched to Target brand and they worked great. I did notice that I had to move up a size before he hit the upper weight limit. We never really had any leaks even at night with them. My son had sensative skin and could not wear Luvs so we tried the Target brand and had no problems. Try a box. They will take them back if they don't work out for you.

i have twins and switched from huggies to target to save $$... they're great. My children have very different body types and they work great for both of them. Save the $$$. the only thing I would say is that you do need to check them a bit more often b/c if they are really full ( my children are big eaters/drinkers) they should be changed... sometimes w/ th huggies if we were busy I would wait a bit longer to change them.. I don't w/ the target brand.

i cant compare them to huggies because they always leaked like crazy on my son, but i use pampers cruisers and the up and up brand seems to work just fine. my son is almost 3, and finally starting to potty train, so during the day they work just fine. at night we still use pampers because they are more absorbant and less likely to leak in bed. i suppose a person could use 2 of the up and up diapers at night but i cant imagine that it is very comfortable, and if you are going to use two, why not just use one that works.
so check them out and see what you think. like i said, they work great during the day, and for a 6 month old they might work just fine at night too. but i guess if they leak, buying a box of huggies for times when you wont be able to change her as often is always an idea that works.

We were in the same boat as you. Going to switch from LUVS to Target brand to save money. Good thing we only got one box. We DIDN"T LIKE THEM AT ALL! They just didn't seem as comfortable as LUVS. With our first we were Huggies users till she was about 6 months and then we switched to LUVS because she was leaking through Huggies. We LOVE THE LUVS and they are cheaper than Huggies.
Give Target a try and if you don't care for them try Luvs!

I think all kids are different - so it doesn't hurt to try the diapers! I have used Target diapers with both of my kids and have loved them. The only time I have trouble with leaks are if I don't change him right away when he wakes up in the morning. The night time diaper tends to get a little full and if I dont't change it right away, I'll be washing the jammies and sheets.

I started using Target brand diapers when I had my first son and it is all I have used for my second. I have no issues with leaks and I think their pattern is really cute. Each baby is different in their shape, but I have found very few complaints about them from other people I know who use them. Give them a whirl!

My son is two and we used Seventh Generation for a long time before we had to cut back on costs. I go in and out of using cloth, (lately it's been out)so we tried a few different brands. Walmart ones leaked quite a bit at night. So far, we really like the Target brand. I haven't had any issues with leaking at night, and it contains big bowel movements with no problems, and it doesn't leave those gel deposits all over his skin. Plus, they're soft and stretchy and seem more comfortable than others we tried. Good luck!

We have used the Target brand a few times with no problems. But I like Luvs a lot! They are almost as cheap as Target brand. And I am big fan of diapers.com. You can order Luvs by the case, they are a (very) little bit cheaper than they are at Target or Walmart and if you buy two cases, you get free shipping. They always arrive within less than 48 hours and you don't have to run to the store to get diapers.
I would also second the vote for Target wipes. They are great and really cheap if you buy by the cases they have on the bottom shelf. I think they have 12 refills per case and are about $12.
