So I posted over a week ago about testing early. So.... 5 pregnancy tests later.. and a period that is 4 days late.. STILL NOTHING!!! What is going on?!?! My period is always on time, MAYBE a day late at the most!! The tests keep coming up negative, but no period either?!? I'm getting rather impatient here.. Any advice??

OK....so i thought i got my period this morning.... but it was just light mucusy spotting.. ( sorry for the details ) and has stopped. This has never happened to be before. Could i still be pregnant?? Well, i know there is a small chance, but 5 negative tests kind of made me think differently. Gosh this is driving me nuts...

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I got my period this morning, and this is an actually period. I have been very stressed all week, over this and other things, so i guess that does explain it. Oh well, next month. Thanks for everyone's help!

you probably perhaps became pregnant and the cells did not implant, which is perfectly normal. Many women go through this and they don't even know it, they just think it is a regular period. Make sure you are taking your folic acid if you are still planning to get pregnant. Good luck!!

Of course you could still be pregnant, anything is possible. I agree that maybe at this point a blood test at your dr. is the best bet so you can put the doubt to rest. Those tests are really accurate but I suppose you never know... It's also true that if you are waiting and stressing about your period, whether you want it or not, it can definitely make it late and mess up your cycle a little. This has happened to me before in times of stress and mental preoccupation!! Don't be too upset if you are not pregnant - you have so much time and you surely will be soon if not right now. Enjoy having your son as an "only" while you still can! Having kids is such a wonderful blessing but it is quite different going from one to two... you will get there, so just enjoy the moments of trying now!

Sometimes the stress of waiting for your period can cause it to be late or you may skip it entirely. Unfortunately it sounds like you're not pregnant but then again you could be. Try to relax and stop worrying so much. Tell yourself that your not pregnant and start calculating your next ovulation cylcle (bear in mind it will be offset by the late period) and you'll be pregnant before you know it! :)

You can still be pregnant, if you ovulated late. Or your period could just be late. If you get a blood test done at your doctor's office they will be able to give you a definite answer as to whether or not you are pregnant. Sorry you're going through this, I know how stressful it can be...
