"Symphony of Science": Looking for Present

Hey ya'll,
I'd like to get my husband a little present. Want to help me out?

He listens to this project called the Symphony of Science (http://www.symphonyofscience.com) as he's falling asleep, doing the dishes, making a fire...and so on so forth. He really, really likes it. He says it makes him feel hopeful about things and he also likes to look up the ideas he hears about, and read up on them. Then at night, he tells me about what he's learned. It's really charming, you know? My man is a smarty, but has an 8th grade education, and this is one of the ways he gets to indulge in a world that he is otherwise not so confident in. I want to support that. And he's being a rockstar these days, pulling really long hours on the ocean, then coming home and making dinner, cleaning, being patient with my crazy mood swings and tired britches...you know...I appreciate it. So anyway, I want to get a little token for him.

I know some of you might have ideas. I bought him the illustrated version of "The Universe in a Nutshell", which he can read on the boat, but he found out about it already. Do you have any ideas of things I could find/purchase that are of this sort? I'm looking for accessible and fun ways to explore the cosmos and world around.

TIA

I just want to grab people on the street and shake them and say "Have you HEARD this???"

- A box of (universe flavored) raspberries. LOVE that the universes tastes like raspberries :) :) :)

- An apple pie

- My son got me hooked on H's The Universe (netflix), as well as Carl Sagan's original Cosmos

- Santa brought the winter sky (paper with the real constelations cut out (in the right sizes). One pins the sheets on the ceiling, and then paints the pinholes with glow in the dark paint, and voila. A starry ceiling.

Ephie, how is your Hubby listening to it?
Podcasts or downloads with an iPod?
If he doesn't have an iPod, maybe get him one... and he can download things to it and listen to it?? An iPod is so portable and he can then listen to it wherever.

Or, the PBS website, typically has many topics about the "cosmos" too. Maybe DVD's, books, downloads, etc.
PBS has an online "shop" as well, just input "the cosmos" in the search bar. I did that and a lot of things/products comes up. Even on shows PBS has had.

When I'm searching for something, like you are, I sometimes go to amazon.com and click on a book or DVD or product as if I am about to buy it. Then at the bottom of the page, amazon has this section, entitled something like "customers who bought this also bought these items" or "customers who viewed this also viewed these". And it's often that way that I can find a new product that is like the one that I already knew about.
