Hi
Can anyone lead me to a good place or good instructor to help my child learn how to swim? I think he would have the most fun in a small group.
Thanks

Try your local YMCA. The Y near our home (in the Allegheny Valley) offers age-appropriate kids' swim classes and my boys loved it. Good luck.

I take my daughter to Aquatech swim school in Alameda. Class size range from 3-4 kids per instructor. Below is the website if you like to check it out. www.aquatechswimschool.com

We started our kids in lessons through the YMCA. After about a year we moved to a new area, not very close to a "Y" facility, so we signed up for lessons with our local "Parks and Recreation" program. The classes are no more than 5 kids per instructor and they are very thorough. Like Karma mentioned, the training program used by Parks and Rec was designed by the Red Cross.

We do our swim lessons through "The American Redcross"...through our "Parks and Recreation" department. Class sizes range anywhere from 3-6 kids. They have been great!
