I found a great onepiece suit with a tube around the middle at K-Mart last summer. It was in with the pool section. We love it!
I'm looking to buy a bubble for my toddler to wear in a swimming pool, but can't seem to find one anywhere. Does anyone know where I can purchase one of these (retail stores and/or catalog)?
Thanks everyone, for your advice. I will probably end up getting one from a YMCA since my son is used to these bubbles (he's taken swimming lessons there in the past). I really appreciate everyone's quick responses!!

Please be aware that many pools, especially outdoor ones in the summer, do not allow floatation devices other than approved life-vests. Before spending any money, I would check with the pool if they allow a bubble. If you signed up your kid for a lesson, they should have what he/she needs there.
The Metrowest YMCA on Old Connecticut Path sells them. They are the yellow ones with 4 removable slices. I want to say that they are about $10/bubble, but I won't swear by it. If not, look at Target. Their summer stuff is starting to come out now. But the one that the Y sells is the one that is used by most indoor swimming places these days for lessons.
I highly recommend going to your local YMCA and purchasing one there. The kind they sell has levels (1 float - 4 floats - sold with 4 floats). As your child progresses in his/her swimming abilities you remove a float and they do more work themselves. Eventually they are down to 1 foat and then none! It has worked great for my 2 kids over the years!

I got them for my little ones at Surburban Child in Framingham. It's a health club and my children were taking swimming lessons there at the time, but I imagine they would sell one to anyone. You might want to call to find out for sure ###-###-####).
Hi, I found something called a Safety-T-Seal years ago on line for my grandchildren. It comes in 3 different sizes. The children felt comfortable and safe and it keeps the heads up where the old bubbles did not.
I saw them at the Outdoor Store in Natick. Not sure where you are located.
over the summer I bought the Baby Spring Float. It has an inner tube and an outter tube, It is a swim step 1. I bought it at walmart and it folds up and fits into a little carry bag. I LOVE IT. My son was 8-9 months old and it does not ti over. It is made by Swim Ways. I have 5 boys 14,13,11,4 and 1 and this is the BEST floaty I ever had.

hope this helps
I was just at Toys R Us today in Framingham and they have a whole section including swimming bubbles, etc. for the summer season displayed. We purchased some swimming bubbles last year at both the YMCA in Framingham as well as Central Pool on Route 30 in Framingham.
Hope that helped.
Central Pools in Framingham on Route 30. It's across from the Dunkin Donuts and Mobil gas station. I got them there for my kids. It's the progressive float when you can take the sections out as they improve.

Try the YMCA. I bought one there years ago for my daughter when she was taking lessons.
