Swimmer Diapers in Winter

Hi,

We are spending a couple days in a hotel with my parents and siblings this coming Friday. Anyone know anywhere that carries the swimmer diapers in the off season? I've checked a couple stores and come up empty. Also, when you've seen them off season, are they with the regular diapers or where are they?

Thanks for your help.

What can I do next?

If you end up not finding them in a store, check with swim schools like the YMCA or Foss--they sell diapers on site for people to use when in their pools. You could also call the hotel; while they might charge an arm and a leg for diapers, it would save you the trouble of running around trying to find them. We've found them in at least two hotels in the Twin Cities.

I've recently seen them on clearance at Target in the diaper aisle. Good luck!

I just bought some of these the other day. I found them at Babies R Us in Roseville, MN. They were on the top of the shelf, near all the other bulk boxes of diapers, and very hard to spot since the bags are not very big.

I haven't looked lately, but when I looked for them a few years ago at about this time of year, I found them at Babies R Us in Richfield / Bloomington. They were near the regular diapers. Instead of running around, though, I'd call around until you find them, and save yourself some hassle. Another idea is to find a swimming suit that has a diaper built into it. I've used those, and they sure are easy.

When my son was in diapers, I used to see them in drug stores (like Walgreens or Snyders) all winter long. I remember noticing them because we were taking swim lessons then. I never bought any though because we used cloth swim diapers (available at Peapods in St. Paul).
