Over the last couple of days I have noticed that my son is sweating while nursing. He does not have a fever and he is not sick. I have not changed my diet either. Is this normal? Does anyone know what might be causing this?

What can I do next?

I haven't been through this, but I would recommend that you call your local La Leche league, or call your pedi's nurse line for advice.

My son was a sweater. and still is. He is 7 now. Are you holding him close or covering him up. If I covered him he would sweat a lot.
On the fever part. I always figured when the child sweats they are totally fever free. thats how I know when My son breaks his fever.
Sorry if I wasn't much help

My son did that too and there was never anything wrong. Don't worry, it's normal.

My sister had the same problem with my nephew, but he was sweating all the time. At his 4 month check up they noticed a problem with his heart. The sweating was caused by a high metabolism due to his heart beating irregularly. He is now 10 months old and is on medication to fix the problem. I don't want to cause any alarm...just maybe call your ped and ask about the sweats.
