I dont sweat from anywhere but my armpits, seriously I can run a mile and not have sweat anywhere. But my puts sweat ALL THE TIME- serioulsy I ruin shirts I cant wear white because within weeks the pits are yellow. Every spring I buy new short sleeve shirts. Honestly I can be sitting at work at my desk doing nothing and I have sweat spots. Does anyone know how to stop this or at least curb it? I am tired of wearing sweaters at work to hide the spots and buying new shirts every season. It is most embarrassing and getting worse the older I get.

This isnt just a summer problem I swear I sweat when I get cold too but in the winter it is easier ti hide with sweaters and hoodies. Thank you ladies it also nice to know I am not the only one that has this problem. I will let you know how the antiperspirant works or If i have to go to Botox

Try secret's clinical strength. It's available OTC, but pricey ($11 or $12 last time I bought one). A bridesmaid of mine swore by it, insisted that no one should get married without it, and gave one to all the ladies in the bridal party at the bachelorette party. (hey I've got quirky friends). Worked for me.

My sis had the same problem. She went to a dermatologist and he gave her a prescription for a special deodorant. She had to put it on morning and at night before bed. It totally worked, I think she only had to use one bottle of it and then she was able to go back to regular deodorant and has never had the problem with under arm sweat since. I also know that you can get botox injected into your armpits and it stops you from sweating. People with problems like you are doing it more and more now. I think it last for about 3 months or so and then you have to go back for more but it would be worth it right?

You should try different deodorant. They have clinical strength types that will help with this. And you can talk to your doctor about different measures to help too. Remember to drink lots of water too!

for this reason and this reason alone I would use botox! I have tried the over the coutner "clinical" deoderants but those do not seem to work for me, I have yet to get a doctor's perscription for this, I just deal with it. I am a sweater ... ALL OVER! It's quite horrid but it is what it is.

I used CertainDri. It worked wonders. It worked so well that I don't sweat hardly at all any more. I used it for about a month. Make sure to follow the directions on the bottle. Good luck!

I'm glad you asked this question, this is something I've struggled with for years. It is embarrassing and not that I want other people to suffer through it too, it is nice to know I'm not the only one. I have been using the clinical strength deodorant for a while, it seems to help, but certainly doesn't solve the problem all together. I had heard about the botox injections, I should look into the cost. Guess it would probably save money in clothes.
Again, thanks for asking the question. :) I'd love to know if you try the botox.

I tend to sweat a lot in my armpits too. I found that Degree for women helps a lot (although it isn't perfect). I'm interested in what else moms can suggest!

I had a friend in college who had this problem. Her doctor recommended CertainDri. It's an OTC antiperspirant with a higher concentration of the active ingredient than most brands. It really helped her. There are also some prescription antiperspirants that you/your doctor could consider. Hopt this helps!

Let me know if you find a solution. I have issues with it, too. Just yesterday.. I wore a tank top (a nice one, but yes sleeveless) out to lunch. It was a long lunch. I drank ice water. The restaurant wasn't overly warm. When I got up to use the restroom, my shirt was soaked half way down the sides. I didn't have the slightest hint of "mist" on my face anywhere.

Yuck. Why? I use antiperspirant.... but it doesn't seem to matter. If I had been outside that entire time, I would have understood... it was 100 degrees here yesterday. But I wasn't... I was indoors with a/c. :(
