That happened to me once, and strangely what worked for me was painting them a pink color and let it sit and then took it off later. It's like it re-stained my nails back to normal.

Maybe it'll work for you too.

Once you get your nails back to normal, put a coat of clear polish on before the color it will seal the nail. I used to wear reds and they would stain the nail but once I used the clearn polish it didn't do it anymore.

Once your nails themselves grow out it will be gone. Certain brands do the same to me no matter the color but blues and greens typically stain the nail. You just have to wait for it to grow out. I suggest you use a nude or light pink polish while that happens.

Maybe try the professional-grade nail polish remover like they use in
salons.

I buy mine at the beauty supply store & I swear it works 10 times better!

Try a cotton swab under your nails as well. I had a green color for St. Patty's day - when I took it off, my nails looked moldy because the green seeped under the tips of my nails!

You could try buffing them with a buffer and buffing polish. And if you use the polish again put a base coat of clear first.

I've heard of using lemon.

Did you use a base coat?

When using nail polish, it is strongly recommended that you apply a clear nail coat before applying color coats, because as it did to you, it tints the nail bed. You might try soaking your nails in a bowl on acetone to remove the tint for ten minutes, that might lessen the color, but normally it has to bleed out naturally. But, you need to invest in buying clear coat polish and USE IT! Try googling pthalates, and learn what cosmetic chemicals do to your body...
