I saw this last night and was shocked by how out of touch this woman was with her 6 children. They got ZERO love and affection. She resented her oldest daughter and made her do a ton of chores and didn't require her other kids to lift a finger. It broke my heart...this poor girl was dying for her moms love. Super Nanny had to remind her to hug her kids...so strange. This lady needed a good a$$ whooping to wake her up!
Was it a new one? I missed it! Some of those people on this show have some real deep seeded issues. I have 5 kids and I love on them all. They all have chores and they're all my favorites! =)
I'm pretty sure I've seen all of them. They become a blur with all the yelling and clueless parents week after week.
Big families freak me out (sorry) just because of this. Too many kids and not enough attention and love. The older kids are forced to parent the younger ones. Ummm, as far as I know, we're not living out on a prarie and putting in crops.
A 10 year old boy drowned a week ago and the NEWEST picture the family could find for the papaer was from THREE YEARS AGO. He was the youngest of eight. SAD.
Once again-there's no test necessary to procreate--even over and over.

Super Nanny shows really make me feel like I have it together some days, and really feel like she should be ringing my doorbell other days!
Christine J - I wonder if they couldn't find a picture of the little boy without other siblings with him. I'm not very good at getting pics of my 4 alone b/c they are always playing together and look so darn cute together.
this is not typical for a big family My hubby comes from a family of 7 kids they are the huggiest family Ever! they grew up happy and loving and healthy. More likely it comes from the mom never receiving love and affection from her mother, she simply doesn't know how.

I seen some parts on that last night. Seen the part at the bowling alley,and how supernanny kept telling her to hug or kiss her daughter. I don't know how some people,especially the mother to all these kids can't show no love or affection to her kids. I can NEVER do that to my kids. My kids always lit up and smile whenever I hug or kiss them. They feed off of that and hug or kiss their siblings the same way,to show their love and affection to them also..... Very sad how some people are......
I've seen all kinds of super freaks on that show. I cant' even watch it. And the McMansions?! Where do such total idiots get all that money, and WHY do they have so many kids when they don't even like them?! And it's all well and good while the crew is there for 6 WEEKS (I heard) helping monitor the parents putting the kids in time out a billion times for every little thing so they can squeeze out a few seconds of footage of the kids not spazzing out, but please. Enough of that show already. My step sister just gave birth to her 7th child, and they are all so wonderful and sweet. My kids get scared watching that show and seeing kids act like sea monsters and wrestle and hit their parents and scream from rabid time outs. It's total PC mainstream fluff spewing ineffective advice right on prime time TV.
People with no clue how to discipline and love their kids do not entertain me.
Sorry to vent...as for that episode, I didn't see it, but I can believe it and it's really sad.
